Dialogue On Dialogue: So much is riding on this scene, the entire story building up to it. And what occurs, the transformation of the mood, from embarrassment to the family’s joyous embrace onstage, mirrors the overall arc of a dysfunctional family finding something of meaning in their collective lives, paying off the story in a big way.
