COLIN: Just fucking kill me. Just fucking kill…
BILLY: I am killing you.

The Departed (2006), written William Monahan, based on the screenplay "Mou gain dou" (Infernal Affairs) by Alan Man and Felix Chong

The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Elevator. Today's suggestion by Gisela Wehrl.

Trivia: When receiving the top award from the Director's Guild of America for this film, Martin Scorsese said that this "is the first movie I have ever done with a plot."

Dialogue On Dialogue: Commentary by Gisela: "Until the very end it's bad guy or good guy: which one will survive, which one will die. The whole movie, they didn't know who the other were. Now they are trapped together in this tiny elevator. Billy thinks he won, but he is wrong. Killing and being killed are just separated by one sentence."
