Watch: This Artist Redesigned a Movie Poster on Every Day of the Year

The most iconic movie posters, reimagined.

On every day in 2016, graphic designer Pete Majarich created a minimalist movie poster. For the project, which he deemed “365 Alternative Movie Posters,” saw Majarich reinterpreted some of the most iconic movie posters in history through a modern lens. Sometimes stark, sometimes intricate, but always clever, his designs range from a dizzying perspective for Vertigo, a multi-layered representation of dream states for Inception, and a gangster created from cocaine for Scarface.

His final poster? Alfonso Cuarón’s Children of Men, on December 31, 2016. Check out a video compilation of Majarich’s posters below.

You can see all of the posters here.

Are any of the posters better than the original? Let us know what you think in the comments.
