The most iconic movie posters, reimagined.
On every day in 2016, graphic designer Pete Majarich created a minimalist movie poster. For the project, which he deemed “365 Alternative Movie Posters,” saw Majarich reinterpreted some of the most iconic movie posters in history through a modern lens. Sometimes stark, sometimes intricate, but always clever, his designs range from a dizzying perspective for Vertigo, a multi-layered representation of dream states for Inception, and a gangster created from cocaine for Scarface.
His final poster? Alfonso Cuarón’s Children of Men, on December 31, 2016. Check out a video compilation of Majarich’s posters below.
